Barron Trump, unlike the rest of the Trump children, has flown under the radar. The youngest Trump first caught the world’s eye on election night 2016, looking more drowsy than Drowzee as he stood behind his father on stage. During Donald Trump’s eventful presidency from 2017 to 2021, Barron has stayed mostly out of the limelight. But his life has been anything but ordinary—from his luxe pre-White House days to astonishing gifts from the world’s biggest  celebs.

Here are some crazy facts you won’t believe are true about Barron Trump.

1. Barron Trump’s Sneaker Obsession

Barron Trump has a serious love for sneakers, especially New Balance. He frequently wears their classic models, such as the 574 Core line, in a variety of colors. He even owns a pair that glows in the dark! Barron donned a pair despite his dad’s 2018 criticism of Nike, creating quite a stir. Even at the age of 11, Barron faced criticism for his casual outfit choices, demonstrating his constant interest in fashion.

2. Barron Trump and the Autism Rumors

In 2016, Rosie O’Donnell stirred controversy by suggesting on Twitter that Barron Trump might be autistic, citing a YouTube video and her own experiences with her daughter. The tweet, which she later deleted and apologized for, caused a media frenzy. Barron’s mother, Melania, didn’t take it lightly and threatened legal action against the video’s creator. Despite the buzz, Barron’s health remains a private matter, with no official statements addressing the rumors.

3. Barron’s Epic White House Field Trip

While most fifth graders visit police stations or aquariums, Barron Trump treated his classmates to a once-in-a-lifetime field trip to  the White House. He brought 80 squirts from Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School, giving them a special tour that included a buffet lunch, a meet-and-greet with his parents, and a pep talk from President Trump. The adventure didn’t stop there—they also toured Washington, DC, and spent the night in the nation’s capital. Now, that’s a childhood memory to remember!

4. Barron Trump and Cyberbullying

Barron Trump discovered the challenges of being the president’s son firsthand. In 2017, when he was just a middle schooler, Barron became the target of a harsh cyberbullying attack. “Saturday Night Live” writer Katie Rich tweeted a cruel joke about him, saying, “Barron will be this country’s first home-school shooter,” which, of course, sparked outrage and led to her suspension. Chelsea Clinton even stepped in to defend Barron, emphasizing that every child deserves to be a regular kid.
