Emirates, the world’s largest provider of international First Class travel, has announced a series of refined enhancements aimed at elevating the luxurious experience it offers its most exclusive passengers.
With over 26,800 First Class seats available each week—each configured as private suites—Emirates continues to set the benchmark for premium air travel. The airline’s latest upgrades, unveiled this week, span both inflight services and on-ground experiences, reinforcing its commitment to the ‘Fly Better’ promise.
A Fresh Take on First Class Dining
Emirates is introducing a new keepsake menu that not only outlines the gourmet selections onboard but also delves into the heritage of the airline’s curated wine collection. Passengers can explore tasting notes and food pairings, while enjoying unlimited caviar served in new engraved bowls designed by British brand Robert Welch.
The First Class cheeseboard has also been elevated, now presented on a rustic slate complete with wooden honey dipper and artisan accompaniments. Adding a further touch of elegance, Emirates cabin crew now provide gloved service in First Class.
Revamped Check-In and Lounge Experience
At Dubai International Airport (DXB), the airline is in the final stages of refurbishing its First Class check-in area in Terminal 3. Designed to feel like a private lounge, the space will offer dedicated check-in counters, personalized service, and tranquil surroundings. Emirates First Class passengers also enjoy complimentary chauffeur-driven transfers and access to 43 luxury airport lounges worldwide.
Suites in the Sky
Dubbed a “hotel room in the sky,” Emirates’ First Class suites offer unmatched privacy and space. On the A380, 14 suites are arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, while the Boeing 777 Game Changer features just six suites in a 1-1-1 setup, each with floor-to-ceiling doors, virtual windows, and zero-gravity seating.
Passengers can control lighting, temperature, and order in-suite service via video call. Ample storage, including full-length wardrobes, is standard, alongside a 50kg checked luggage allowance.
Rest and Relaxation, Redefined
Passengers are offered lie-flat beds dressed in cotton-lined duvets, with plush faux sheepskin blankets and Hydra Active moisturizing pyjamas that release vitamin C and olive oil during wear. Each suite includes a vanity mirror and luxury skincare products by Byredo, while amenity kits designed in collaboration with Bulgari feature signature Le Gemme fragrances and essentials like shaving kits and mirrors.
Dining and Beverages on Demand
First Class travelers can dine whenever they wish, with an à la carte menu offering locally sourced gourmet meals, vegan options, and an exclusive Movie Snacks Menu. The airline is renowned for its unlimited caviar service and also provides premium chocolates, dates, and mini takeaway boxes of sweets.
Emirates remains the only airline globally to serve Dom Pérignon in First Class. The drinks menu features elite selections such as Hennessy Paradis Cognac, Glenmorangie Signet whisky, and fine wines from prestigious vineyards, including future vintages aged in the airline’s French cellars for years to come.
Inflight Entertainment at Its Peak
Entertainment in Emirates First Class includes a 32-inch Full HD screen with access to over 6,500 channels. Passengers are provided with Bowers & Wilkins noise-canceling headphones crafted from fine materials like sheepskin leather. Content includes Hollywood blockbusters, global TV series, and partnerships with Paramount+, HBO Max, Discovery+, and more.
Signature A380 Experiences
On the A380, First Class passengers have access to two onboard Shower Spas featuring sustainable amenities by luxury brand Voya. These spas come complete with temperature-controlled showers, heated flooring, and a relaxing ambience.
Passengers can also socialize in the Onboard Lounge, shared with Business Class, which features a full bar, booth seating, and a 55-inch screen displaying flight information and camera feeds from outside the aircraft.
With these upgrades, Emirates continues to solidify its position at the pinnacle of luxury travel, offering its First Class passengers an experience that is both indulgent and unforgettable.
