Job Position: Head of Quality Assurance

Job Overview

 

  • We are currently seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Quality Assurance to lead our Quality Assurance department.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across our factory production processes.
  • This leadership role requires a proven track record in quality management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to foster a culture of quality excellence.

Responsibilities
Quality Management:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system to ensure the production of high-quality products.
  • Establish and enforce quality control standards, procedures, and best practices.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Quality Assurance Policies:

  • Formulate, update, and communicate quality assurance policies to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and inspire the Quality Assurance team, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the department.

Audits and Inspections:

  • Plan and conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards.
  • Coordinate regulatory inspections and ensure timely resolution of any findings.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks.
  • Generate comprehensive reports on quality performance for management review.

Supplier Quality Management:

  • Collaborate with procurement teams to establish and maintain supplier quality standards.
  • Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with quality requirements.

Customer Feedback and Resolution:

  • Develop and implement mechanisms for collecting and analyzing customer feedback.
  • Lead efforts to address customer complaints and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within Quality Assurance in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with statistical process control and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with ISO standards and other relevant quality frameworks.
  • Proven ability to drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
