Supreme Court Affirms Sanwo-Olu’s Election, Seven Other Govs Await Fate
The Supreme Court has affirmed the election of Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the governor of Lagos State.
Justice Garba Lawal, who delivered the lead judgement, dismissed the appeal filed by Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party (LP).
Justice Lawal stated that Sanwo-Olu’s running mate in the March 18 election, Obafemi Hamzat, was qualified to contest the election as deputy governor.
