Tragically, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has passed away after an extended period of illness. In response to his demise, the Ondo State House of Assembly is currently in the process of swearing in his deputy as the new governor, marking a transition in leadership for the state.
In Professor Pat Utomi in his statement said, “Oh No. Not another partner. Just heard of Ondo Gov. Akeredolu. Aketi and I were schoolmates in Ibadan just as his wife Betty was my schoolmate at UNN. We were good family friends. I joined his wife in the cancer awareness campaign when she encountered it about 3 decades ago.”
