Liverpool came from behind to beat Fulham 2-1 in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final thanks to two goals in three second-half minutes from Curtis Jones and Cody Gakpo.
Jurgen Klopp’s side fell behind when Willian capitalised on a Virgil van Dijk error early on but Curtis Jones pulled them level with a long-range effort which took a wicked deflection off Tosin Adarabioyo.
Fulham had performed brilliantly up until that point but the hosts completed the turnaround when substitutes Darwin Nunez and Gakpo combined for a slick Liverpool second.
