The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, has addressed ‘feud-mongers’ he said are inciting inter-agency clashes, saying that security agencies are united in their unwavering commitment to securing the country.
He stated this on Monday, November 17, 2025 following reports of assassination attempt on a Nigerian Navy officer, Lt. A.M. Yerima in Abuja.
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command had denied the reports, describing the claim as false and unverified.
Sharing photos of the Inspector-general of police, IGP Kayode Egbetoku, the immediate past Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Gwabin Musa (rtd) and others, the PPRO wrote;
“O ye feud-mongers, inciting inter-agency clashes, please note that the synergy is way stronger than that. We remain focused, as team players, in securing our dear nation both from within and without.”
